TED Community Experiment results

*
Dear TED Community friends,

here are your results for the coordination / intercultural coordination experiment. Check to see if your answers match the most frequent ones - did you manage to coordinate with many others? The first part of the presentation shows general results, and the second part shows results disaggregated between those who played the coordination game and those who played the intercultural coordination game.

For an explanation of the theory behind this experiment and an analysis of its results and implications, please watch the presentation in the next post.

Thank you very much for taking part in this study!!!

Intercultural coordination experiment pilot test results

Dear friends,

thank you very much for helping me out with the coordination / intercultural coordination experiment pilot test; it was very useful. As promised, here are your results - please bear in mind that this is not a scientifically valid experiment (it was implemented with a sample of 53 friends, and no statistical tests were run). A presentation with the results of the actual experiment, with scientifically valid results, and a presentation with its explanation and analysis will come in the next posts.

(Better if you view the presentation in full screen, by clicking on the "full" button of the presentation window.)

Thanks again, and remember you can always send me an email or post a comment with your thoughts.

Welcome to the Deliberation Lab blog.

You probably landed here because you just played an experimental game; thank you for participating in the Lab's first online global project.

Please feel free to send the link to the game you played to more people - that way you will help increase the experiment's validity and your results will be much more meaningful.

Stay tuned - results, analysis and an explanation of this experiment will soon be posted.

(The easiest way for us to keep in touch is if you subscribe to this blog using any online RSS feeder, such as the Google Reader.)

Also, remember that you can always post a comment in this blog, or send an email to deliberationlab@gmail.com (for example, if you want to participate in more experiments).

All the best, thanks again and see you soon.
